The focal point
of my art career for over thirty years has been Fine
Art Screen Printing. During this time I pioneered
and promoted the use of non-toxic water based
screen printing inks to eliminate the hazards
associate with the medium.
The imagery in my work is a journey through my
life experiences and I hope you enjoy journeying
through the work. The style and color palette I've
used has changed over the years. In earlier years
black and white imagery predominated, but this
limited color palette has morphed in to an expres-
sionistic use of color in my mono screen prints
and edition screen prints.
I tend to work in series of images related to a
theme, usually with a humanistic focus. Art and
life are intertwined. Art is a medium for express-
ing my feelings about a broad range of events in
my past that continue to shape my life today.
I am available to teach screen printing workshops
to individuals and groups. All materials and equip-
ment are provided. The workshop can be held at
your location or in my work space.
My Work
For the past twenty years I have lived in the
U.S., Ireland and Finland. During this time I
taught art and screen printing in second and
third level educational institutes and taught
independent workshops, while pursued my
own work in a studio. My imagery and art
work tend to deal with social themes and I
create a body of work that reflects that theme
